A New Chapter for La Fauxmagerie

A New Chapter for La Fauxmagerie

La Fauxmagerie has always been about craftsmanship, innovation, and bringing exquisite plant-based cheeses to tables across the UK. Now, as we step into a new chapter with Honestly Tasty at the helm, we wanted to share what this exciting evolution means for you—our community—and the future of the brand.

Honestly Tasty has been producing La Fauxmagerie cheeses for over a year, so this natural progression to full stewardship allows us to take the brand further than ever. Meanwhile, Purezza—the restaurateurs that have been running the renowned Cheese Cellar in Camden—will continue to offer a celebrated vegan cheese and wine experience under their own name.

This means you’ll get the best of both worlds: the hospitality and flair of Purezza, and the production, innovation, and retail expertise of Honestly Tasty.

"We’re so excited to grow La Fauxmagerie," says Michael Moore, founder of Honestly Tasty. "This gives us the chance to innovate and expand while honouring the craftsmanship and quality that the community loves."

What’s Changing, and What’s Staying the Same

Staying the Same:

  • The core La Fauxmagerie cheese range that you know and adore

  • The cheese cellar (though it'll no longer be part of the La Fauxmagerie family

  • The production team (Honestly Tasty, already working behind the scenes!)

Changing:

  • Honestly Tasty is now fully steering the brand

  • More resources for new product development and retail partnerships

Benefits for You:

  • Our online shop is back on a new domain (.co.uk), delivering your favourites straight to your door

  • New fauxmage—in-house stewardship means faster innovation and exciting launches

  • Improved service thanks to our dedicated support team

  • Our full online cheesemonger experience will return in the future

Two Brands, One Vision

While Honestly Tasty now steers La Fauxmagerie, both brands remain distinct, each offering something unique. Together, we’re raising the bar for plant-based cheese in the UK.

Still Wondering About…

  • Who runs La Fauxmagerie? Honestly Tasty now manages the brand, product range, and online shop at lafauxmagerie.co.uk. Purezza continues to operate the Camden Cheese Cellar independently.

  • Will the values stay the same? Absolutely—quality, innovation, and plant-based excellence remain at the heart of everything we do.

  • Are the cheeses still made by the same people? Yes—the Honestly Tasty team have been producing La Fauxmagerie cheeses for over a year.

  • Where can I buy La Fauxmagerie? Online via our shop, at Waitrose, and through various stockists. Saporia, a new online deli, will also feature our cheeses alongside their carefully curated selection.

Looking Ahead

This is just the beginning. More cheeses, more stockists, and more innovation are on the horizon—all while honouring the refined, artisanal roots that make La Fauxmagerie what it is.

Stay tuned.
