What kind of cheese is Camden Cultured?

Camden Cultured is a soft, fermented plant-based cheese made from cashews. It's carefully cultured over time to develop its signature tang.

The flavour profile is layered and intentional:

  • Tangy and deeply savoury, thanks to fermentation

  • White miso and nutritional yeast add real umami depth

  • Rowanberry brings a subtle bitter finish that keeps things interesting

The result is a vegan cheese that’s bold, complex, and dangerously moreish. It’s dairy-free, but never dull - the kind of cheese that keeps everyone coming back for more...

And it isn’t trying to imitate a traditional dairy cheese either. Camden Cultured stands confidently on its own, offering something genuinely different for plant-based cheeseboards.

How to Serve Camden Cultured

Our favourite way to enjoy it:

  • Spread thickly on dark rye bread

  • Add crisp apple slices for freshness and bite

  • Finish with a small spoonful of quince paste or a similar relish

The gentle sweetness of the quince pulls out all those savoury, tangy notes and really highlights the rowanberry finish.
