Salad Season: The Cheese That Can Take the Heat
Summer is making its case. The kind of weather that calls for something fresh, considered, and worth lingering over.
We've asked David Bez of Salad Pride to build five recipes around the season, and around our cheeses. Not as garnish. Not as an afterthought. As the thing the whole dish is built around. From smoky pasta to delicate courgette ribbons, each one has a hero and you might not have expected it to be the cheese. You will after this.
Meet David Bez
David Bez is a Milan-born, London-based food explorer and the man behind Salad Pride (a blog that set about proving salad could be the main event!). Not a chef by trade but a designer, he has always known that you eat with your eyes first. His daily salad challenge went global, spawned four cookbooks, and earned him the rather good nickname "the man who sexed up salad." These days David is deep in the world of plant-based food, which makes him exactly the kind of person we want in our kitchen!
What to expect?
Five, easy to assemble recipes for simple salads that'll wow your guests or offer comfort on solo sofa nights. Enjoy as the main event, or alongside BBQs and picnic spreads this summer. We're here for it, whatever the weather!
